Is the issue persisting in Local Admin user?Per company policy, all PCs are logged into with domain accounts that are not local admins. Our environment is tightly controlled, and I am unable to change this.
Have checked if the issue persists if the user is set to administrator group?See above, I am unable to make our users a member of the administrators group.
Have you checked with updating all the Windows update, except drivers?Windows Updates are rolled out on a controlled schedule, and all machines are on the same patch level. I am unable to arbitrarily patch individual workstations.
Please click here to get some assistance on the issue; you have to perform this on your own risk.That was an interesting read, and the issue is similar to mine but with one key difference. This post describes an issue that is created upon a reboot, but our issue is resolved upon a reboot. We have seen this issue manifest itself in a variety of situations, but never when the computer is rebooted or first turned on. Furthermore, we have no GPOs that modify any of the referenced settings.
Please let me know what my next steps are to continue troubleshooting this issue.
